EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. December 1, 2008: GE Capital Solutions Fleet Services has processed more than $5.7 million in rebates for its customers that lease hybrid or alternative fuel motor vehicles since implementing a rebate program.
Pedestrian killed after struck by 2 vehicles (Lexington Herald-Leader)
A pedestrian was killed after being struck by two vehicles. Investigators say 47-year-old James Deramus was crossing Bardstown Road early Sunday when he was hit by a Ford Escape, thrown into the northbound lanes and hit by a Ford F-150 truck. Police say Deramus lived near the crash site. He died later at University Hospital. No charges are expected to be filed.

Two stereos and compact discs were stolen from three vehicles on the 20900 block of Avenue 8 in Richgrove sometime between 5:30 p.m. and 9:50 p.m. Sunday, according to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department.
